The pathways to success

Sometimes, in life, we fail. We miss an exam, we miss a job interview, we don’t get our license…etc. These failures are damn boring, but do you think they could also have a positive side? According to the results of a recent research, failures could motivate us to succeed. It can even be one of the pathways to success.

To fail is not easy, but it is surmountable. It can even turn into a big advantage if you relativize well as it should. In life, we can’t succeed in everything. If that were the case, I believe that we couldn’t help but feel an admiration close to hatred for those who would have the gift of knowing everything, of winning everything.

We all have a person around us who won the big prize every year, who got his bachelor degree with honors, who is the most handsome of the family, who has the best job, it’s always him! The only thing he can’t do is to fail.

But in reality, the daily life of this person would be almost difficult to manage. Sometimes it seems that some people have that gift: they succeed in everything they do. We don’t know their failures because they may be silent or don’t shout on all roofs! Because that’s it, too, the thing: everyone fails from time to time, but not everyone feels the need or the urge to say it.

And that’s easy to explain. Because having to deal with a failure stings a bit, as well as having to formulate it. Because sometimes, when one fails in an exam, in a sports competition, in stopping a cigarette-type addiction…etc. you feel a kind of a shame, and assuming it aloud can make your cheeks turn pink (remember a bit of the time when you had to say in kindergarten that you pissed in your pants because you have not managed to reach the toilet in time).

However, saying that is an opportunity to gather some tips that may be valuable to you and let you see failure as one of the pathways to success.

In addition, there is no reason to feel humiliated by a failure! Beyond all the ready-made phrases that sound not terrible but are nevertheless true based on «there are only those who don’t try who never fail “, we must know how to move away.

Don’t forget that you are not totally strange to the pressure you feel: often, without realizing it, we have internalized the pressure that comes from the outside. So my advice, after a failure, is to take a deep breath and think to make the difference: is it really useful to panic and depreciate? Another way of turning this question, even simpler: is this failure irremediable? There is little, very little stuff that we can fail without ever being able to retry.

A bachelor degree, exams, CAP or another diploma, it can be retaken the following year, being even better prepared. Of course, we must be patient, but what seems insurmountable in terms of waiting, if we look at the long-term, seems much less impressive if we go step by step. Instead of looking directly at the next exam session by finding the longest time, set yourself shorter goals.

Failure is one of the pathways to success

Some people didn’t need to fail to have the spirit of competition and success. I am not in this case, and I think we are quite a lot not to be.

I don’t know why we are so numerous and numerous to panic by imagining not having the permit, the bachelor degree, the Ph.D., a gold medal at the Olympic Games or any other first prize. I don’t know why we sometimes have the impression that time is running out for us: on the story of a life, a year, after all, it’s nothing, as long as we take advantage of it to succeed. That doesn’t mean that we mustn’t do everything possible to try to succeed right now, it just means that we must do everything possible to succeed immediately, but accept the possibility of having to try another day!

Failure can allow us to learn things about us. It can teach us that we will recover, that we will certainly experience other failures, that it does not necessarily mark our lives forever, that we can change our way by ourselves.

How to live life to the fullest and focus on the positive?

I think the best challenges facing life are a “positive attitude and do not let you overwhelm to be too afraid to move forward. So many people focus on the downside (of life) and stay there, thinking and feeling negative. I think one should deal with challenges straightforwardly, pick oneself up, dust oneself off and move on. Sometimes I put issues in perspective by asking myself, ‘What is the worst thing that could happen?’ ”

In the lines that follow, I will show you the recipe for HAPPINESS. You will discover how to live life to the fullest and focus on the positive, how to chase away your negative thoughts, how to erase everything that is wrong in your environment and, how to become a happy, positive and fulfilled person.

  • You have trouble falling asleep, you turn and you return to your bed because your troubles trot in your head until 3 am? And the next day you are like a zombie, with red eyes and huge dark circles because you have not slept enough?
  • Do you wake up in the morning and the first thing you think is your problems?
  • As soon as you solve a problem, there are new ones coming out of nowhere?
  • Are you anxious, stressed and, nervous? Your worries eat you up and, ruin your life, but, you do not know how to get rid of it?
  • You have the impression that you go through your life without seeing it, like a ghost, and basically wondering if you have the right to happiness?
  • Do you feel that happiness and joy are only for others and, that you are condemned to remain unhappy all your life?

What you need is a clear, step-by-step action plan to clear your head of all the problems that run into it, and to learn how to live life to the fullest and focus on the positive.

A few years ago, I was at the bottom of the hole. Every day, I woke up with the ball in my stomach. I wondered what trouble was still going to fall on the corner of my face: My car that breaks down, my boss who decides to spend his nerves on me…etc.

And, in just a few months, I was fired from my work and my apartment and found myself with nowhere to go, I was diagnosed with many health problems and I had a lot of financial problems.

At that moment, I really thought that an invisible force was playing with me and, with my nerves.

But worst, you know what it was? It was the others. I saw people around me smiling, happy, having projects…etc.

I felt like I couldn’t do anything and, that I was doomed to remain unhappy for the rest of my life, without projects, without friends, without love, without anything.

At that time, I admit, I almost gave up. Many times I have thought of the worst. And then, I had a kind of click.

The sentence that changed my life.

I read a stupid sentence, which said: “If you were to die tomorrow, would you die happy?”

And I thought NO, I would die unhappy. And then, the next moment, I had the biggest flash in all my life.

I realized that deep down, everyone didn’t care if I was happy or unhappy. Being happy or unhappy was my own problem, just ME.

And above all, I realized that it was up to ME to make me happy ALONE.

When I understood that, my life changed.

I knew I had to get my life back on my feet and, do some work for me to get out of my depression and get my spirits up.

I began to devour loads of books on positive psychology, optimism, personal development…etc.

My decision was made: from today, I am going to be HAPPY. I am going to live life to the fullest and focus on the positive.

As I read, I took notes on the exercises to do, the state of mind to acquire to be happier and more fulfilled.

I tested the techniques of dozens of psychologists, therapists and, other experts in happiness. I recorded all the results in my diary, which I called “My Happiness Recipe”.

It lasted me many years before I understand the mechanisms of the human brain and, to know how to live life to the fullest and focus on the positive.

  • Purge your brain and get rid of your problems once and for all;
  • Stop brooding your problems all day long and, replace them with positive and pleasant thoughts which will give you the smile of waking up until bedtime;
  • Force your brain to see the glass half full;
  • Never let yourself be disturbed by the daily hassle and, become serene and, relaxed in your life;
  • turn the obstacles you encounter opportunities to improve your life;
  • use self-manipulation to bring out the best of yourself;
  • Transform your bad habits over the long term to become a generous, positive and open-minded person;
  • Transform your opinion of yourself and, define yourself in a positive way;
  • Evacuate your negative energy;
  • rid yourself forever of frustration, anger, jealousy and, all the emotions that ruin your life;
  • Be positive 99 % of your day, even when you spend “a shitty day”;
  • take a step back from your situation, take stock with clarity and, make decisions that will positively influence your life;
  • Eradicate what pulls you down in your environment and, surround yourself with positive waves:
  • Eradicate the routine completely from your life;
  • Reinvent your environment regularly and break the routine of everyday life. it is scientifically proven, the more you have something new in your life, the happier you are;
  • get out of your comfort zone and “put yourself in danger”, so as to enrich yourself emotionally and humanely;
  • Make the point, blow, decompress daily, and take time to find yourself alone with yourself;
  • Create a precise ritual that will clear your head and refocus on yourself;
  • Capture the moments of happiness in your life, put them in a “little box”, and take them out at any time when you want to be happy again;
  • Note the “recurrences” in your life, dissect your moments of happiness and clone all the positive events of your life to be happy at any time;
  • Associate sounds, images and smells with important events in your life.

With this recipe, you can make the positive in your life and it depends on the challenge you impose on yourself, and by maintaining the recipe above, I guarantee you to live positively every day and in your all life.

You want to be happy? be grateful for what you have

   One thing that Humans have in common is that they want to be happy. And, happiness is born of gratitude. In the lines that follow, you will discover an inspiration about how to be grateful for what you have.

There is something we know about every person we meet anywhere in the world. It’s the mainspring of everything they do and everything they accept. This thing is that all of us want to be happy. In this, we are all alike. How we conceptualize happiness, it differs from one person to the other, but it’s already a lot to have in common, we all want to be happy.

I will talk here about gratitude and the link between happiness and gratitude. Many people would say: well, it’s very easy. When you are satisfied, you are grateful. But think again. Is it really happy people who are grateful? We all know people who have everything they need to be happy but, they are not happy because they want something else or they want more of what they already have. And we all know people who have suffered many disasters or hardships and, who are deeply happy. Why? Because they are grateful for what they have. It is not happiness that makes us grateful. It is the fact of being grateful that makes us happy.

Do you want to be happy?

One may wonder, what does it mean to be grateful for what you have? And how does it work? We all know from experience how it goes. We live an experience that brings us something precious and, something which is really given. There must be something precious and, at once a real gift. You didn’t buy it, win it or even trade it. You didn’t work for that. It’s only given to you. And when these two things go together, a thing that is really precious to you and that you realize it really gives you and then, spontaneously, gratitude rises in your heart, the joy rises spontaneously in your heart. This is how gratitude comes.

By living, you become aware that each moment is a given moment. It’s a gift. You didn’t win it. You didn’t provoke it in any way. You have no assurance that another time will be given to you, and yet it is the most precious thing that can ever be given to you, this moment, with all the opportunities it contains. If we did not have this moment, we would have no opportunity to do anything or live anything, and this moment is a gift. It’s a given moment.

What makes you so grateful is the opportunity, not what is given to you, because if it was elsewhere and you did not have the opportunity to enjoy it, to do something about it, you would not be grateful. The chance to grab is the gift of every gift, and it is often said, luck doesn’t knock twice at the same door. Well, think again. Every moment is a new gift, again and again, and if you miss the opportunity of that moment, another moment is given to you, and yet another. We can take this chance, or we can miss it, and if we take this chance, it’s the key to happiness. The key to our happiness is in our hands. Moment after moment, you can be grateful for what you have.

I’m looking forward to the future and feeling grateful for the past.        mike_rowe

Does that mean that you can be grateful for everything? Certainly not! We can’t be grateful for violence, for war, for oppression, for exploitation. On a personal level, we can’t be grateful for the loss of a friend, for lack of loyalty, for mourning.

I didn’t say that you can be grateful for everything; I said that you can be grateful at any given moment for the occasion, and even when faced with something terribly difficult, you can rise to the occasion and, take the chance given to you. It’s not as bad as it sounds.

In fact, when you look twice, you will find that most of the time, what is given to you is an opportunity to appreciate and, you miss it only because you run too fast afterlife and you don’t stop to see this opportunity.

But from time to time, something very difficult is given to you, and when this difficult thing presents itself to you, it is a challenge to be taken on this occasion, and you can be relieved by learning something which is sometimes painful.

Learn patience, for example. We have been told that the path to peace is not a sprint, but that it is more like a marathon.  It’s difficult. It may be to defend your opinions, to defend your beliefs. This is a chance given to you to learn, to suffer, to stand up, all these possibilities are given to you, but these are opportunities, and those who seize these opportunities are the ones we admire. They do something of their life. And those who fail to get another opportunity. We always have another opportunity. It is the wonderful wealth of life.

So how do you find a way to make it happen? How each of us can find a way to live with gratitude, not just to be grateful for what you have from time to time, but to be grateful every moment.

How can we do? It’s a simple method. It’s so simple that we were told when, as children, we were taught to cross the street: Stop, Watch, and then, Cross. That’s all. But, when do we stop? We rush through life. We don’t stop. We miss the opportunity because we don’t stop. We must stop. We must be calm in ourselves and, we must create Stop signs in our lives.

Love of My Life Meaning: Myth or Reality? What Explications and Implications?

We often hear the expression “The Love of My Life”, “My Soulmate”, “My half”. All these expressions that imply that there would exist somewhere a person “made for oneself” and by extension that there would not be much to expect from others in love.

So what is “Love of my Life Meaning”? Is the concept of “Love of my Life” viable for guiding one’s love choices or, on the contrary, is it a good way to miss out on love without even realizing it?

There are always two major currents that oppose when we talk about finding love. Those who think that what will happen will happen, that we have a soulmate, a man or a woman of his life, those whom we will call Fatalists and others who think that love is a matter of conscience, of desire to build, of choice and of will, which I will call them the Behaviourists.

Fatalistic thinking is comfortable in the sense that it allows resignation and never leads to questioning. “If it didn’t work, it must not work”, “If we split up, it must not be the right person.”, “If he or she did not want to see you again, it was not the man or the woman of your life”.

Except that this pretty idea of a single person, “made for oneself”, that would exist somewhere, and with whom, in some way, if we met her, love would still exist without having any effort to do, because it’s “she”, because “it’s written”, is an idea that finds no foundation in reality.

We agree that there are no two identical people, and to make things worse, even if at a moment “t”, we can imagine two perfectly complementary people in all, the human is thus made that the external elements and its own history make it evolve and, change. Consequently, at the moment “t+1” nothing assures that these two same people will always be synchronous.

Life is not a long calm river, as the famous adage said, and that is only so true. If we think that the reason why we don’t get along perfectly and naturally with someone after a time is because it was not the “right person” then we risk to never find this so-called “good person” because the synchronicity of two existences on the whole length is completely in opposition to the concept of personal evolution.

The likelihood that two people remain perfectly complementary and synchronous in their personal evolution, such as a pair of geometrically symmetrical rails over a whole life path, is virtually impossible.

Finally, to realize that the notion of “love of my life” is a myth does it mean that it is impossible to make one’s entire life with the same person who is different?

Obviously no! What makes someone unique is not of the order of destiny and, here again, we oppose the Fatalists but, of the order of the action and the will of each one with serious affinities at departure means.

To illustrate the point, here is an extract from the Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry:

  • What does it mean to “tame”? Said the little prince.
  • It’s something too forgotten, said the fox, it means “creating links”.
  • Creating links?
  • To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you “tame” me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in the entire world. To you, I shall be unique in the entire world.

And that’s it. The only one in the world to whom I believe is simply the one with whom we have been able to create links. That’s what will make him unique to us. To create bonds and to succeed, by love, will, envy and conscience, to maintain them throughout the different and natural evolution of both.

If one is aware of this, then, there is no man or woman in his life. There are potentially lots of possible “soulmates”, and it’s up to us to create, develop, maintain and nurture the bonds. Nothing happens like that and we must not expect anything from the fate that we have not even helped to build. This is valid in a lot of human companies but it is even more so in the business of love.

So when someone asks: “and, if the love of your life is on the other side of the world, will you never meet him or her?” The answer is: “why to seek for what is on our doorstep?” The Love of my life is everywhere, just decide together to build. What will be unique is not the person in himself but the links.

The advantage of this positivist and behaviourist attitude is that at no time do we rely on fatality to explain its failures, or at least its missed successes. This allows you to question yourself every time and try to correct yourself, to better control the tools that will ultimately allow you to choose a person who is worthy of it and to fight together so that the links never break, or as late as possible, to be more realistic.

The great way to enjoy your day to the fullest

Each of us is born unequal to dawn, genes seem to him. However, Monday morning is still a difficult predicament for all. Who has never paid his warning to a missing train point or date? This crucial moment determines the entire day.

And life is short so I have to create habits to enjoy your day to the fullest, here are these ideas to make your day fruitful and active

1/ Wake up early

If you get up in the morning is a torture, if you change schedules and have to get up early, or if you just decided to get up early to enjoy your morning, these tips are for you!

– calculate your sleep time (Do a test over a week, from how many hours of sleep do you feel rested?)

– go gradually (Do not go from an early morning alarm clock at 8 am to an alarm clock at 5:45 am direct. You may not hold on for the duration (to crack after two days, in sum.) Go there smoothly.)

– set yourself a morning goal (As for bedtime, here too the key is the ritual. Create a routine that gives you a smile in the morning!)

2 / To pray

“A good and beautiful prayer can last for a moment: just the time to say thank you or please.”

The one who regularly prays can calm more easily all those thoughts that turn on the head like a carousel, as an article of the Conference of German Bishops explains. How to get there, what to say and what to avoid when praying.

3/ Do some exercise to energize your body

– get up a little earlier to have time to eat calmly and without stress

– start with a glass of fresh water to open your appetite

7/ act actively

8/ Read a book before bedtime

We must tell you that reading before sleep is healthy, there are several studies that tell us that reading for at least 15 minutes before going to sleep succeeds in relieving stress. Because it relaxes us, reduces anxiety and allows us to sleep quickly. But consider one thing: it is not good to read on the computer or on the phone, or even on the tablet. The light of these devices awakens us instead of relaxing.

9 / Sleep early

“To go to bed early and get up early makes a man healthy, rich and wise” – Ben Franklin

Sleeping is a vital part of our existence. No one can survive without sleeping for more than 4 days. But it has become common knowledge that successful people are people who get up early.

End: we know (almost) all that we have one life, which we must enjoy, in short, we must enjoy our life to the fullest. The truth is God wants you to enjoy your life daily.

10 Tips to keep motivate yourself

Motivation is a theoretical construct used to explain behavior. It gives the reasons for people’s actions, desires, and needs. Motivation can also be defined as one’s direction to behavior, or what causes a person to want to repeat a behavior and vice versa.

Pain may sometimes be the reason why people change. Getting flunked grades make us realize that we need to study. Debts remind us of our inability to look for a source of income. Being humiliated gives us the ‘push’ to speak up and fight for ourselves to save our face from the next embarrassments. It may be a bitter experience, a friend’s tragic story, a great movie, or an inspiring book that will help us get up and get just the right amount of motivation we need in order to improve ourselves.

1- Belief in yourself, and in what you can do.

2– Just be yourself. The key to success is to be yourself. And the key to failure is to try to please everyone.

3– Don’t give up and don’t give in. Thomas Edison failed once, twice, more than thrice before he came up with his invention and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Make motivation as your steering wheel.

4– Ignore those who try to destroy you. Don’t let other people get the best of you. Stay out of toxic people – the kind of friends who hates to hear about your success.

5– Ready yourself. Motivation is also about preparation. We must hear the little voice within us telling us to get started before others will get on their feet and try to push us around. Remember, it wasn’t raining when Noah build the ark.

6 – Take control of your life. Discipline or self-control jives synonymously with motivation. Both are key factors in self-improvement.

7 – You are unique. No one in this world looks acts or talks like you. Value your life and existence, because you’re just going to spend it once.

8 – Understand others. If you know very well how to talk, you should also learn how to listen. Yearn to understand first, and to be understood the second.

9 – Family and Friends – are life’s greatest ‘F’ treasures. Don’t lose sight of them.

10 – Enjoy. Work as if you don’t need money. Dance as if nobody’s watching. Love as if you never cried. Learn as if you’ll live forever. Motivation takes place when people are happy.

10 Questions You Should Ask Yourself Before 2018

Be all you can be, Often we are dissatisfied with our lives, but of course, it’s hard to think of anything else when there are real issues to be discussed. But asking questions before 2018 can change a lot in our lives

“Still I aspire to something deeper and more meaningful.”
So we’re all pelted with problems. Honestly, it shouldn’t even bother or even hinder us from becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

1. What do I really want?

The question of the ages. So many things you want to do in your life and so little time to even go about during the day.
Find something that you are good act can help to realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?

Today’s generation has taken another level of redefining ‘self’, or at least that’s what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?

Also read: Change .. the real fact of life

If history has taught us one thing, it’s the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn’t appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.

3. What’s the bright side in all of this?

With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it’s a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?

There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to have experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?

Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts, you’ll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy with where I am today?

It’s an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes for everyday life!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?

So maybe I don’t have an answer to that, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit.

8. How much could I have?

I suppose in this case there are no such things as having things too much or too little, but it’s more on how badly you really need it. I’d like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?

9. What motivates me?

What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It’s not like you can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s it. Just try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?

So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it’s something that you really want.

How to Manage Stress with these strategies

There are many variants when it comes to stress. Coping with life, and carrying the problems that may or may not belong to you can scratch away the little joy and happiness that you can carry once you head out that door. You can’t blame them for being like that; they have their own reasons, so much like we have our reasons to allow stress to weigh us down. They say that stress is all in the mind, well, what’s bugging you anyway?

Is unavoidable in life, it is important to find ways to decrease and prevent stressful incidents and decrease negative reactions to stress. Here are some of the things that can be done by just remembering it, since life is basically a routine to follow like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast. You can do a few of them in a longer span of time, but as they say– every minute counts.

Managing time

Time management skills can allow you more time with your family and friends and possibly increase your performance and productivity. This will help reduce your stress.

To improve your time management:

• Save time by focusing and concentrating, delegating, and scheduling time for yourself.
• Keep a record of how you spend your time, including work, family, and leisure time.
• Prioritize your time by rating tasks by importance and urgency. Redirect your time to those activities that are important and meaningful to you.
• Manage your commitments by not over- or under-committing. Don’t commit to what is not important to you.

• Deal with procrastination by using a day planner, breaking large projects into smaller ones, and setting short-term deadlines.
• Examine your beliefs to reduce conflict between what you believe and what your life is like.

Build healthy coping strategies

     It is important that you identify your coping strategies. One way to do this is by recording the stressful event, your reaction, and how you cope with a stress journal. With this information, you can work to change unhealthy coping strategies into healthy ones-those that help you focus on the positive and what you can change or control in your life.

Some behaviors and lifestyle choices affect your stress level. They may not cause stress directly, but they can interfere with the ways your body seeks relief from stress. Try to:

• Balance personal, work, and family needs and obligations.
• Have a sense of purpose in life.
• Get enough sleep, since your body recovers from the stresses of the day while you are sleeping.
• Eat a balanced diet for a nutritional defense against stress.
• Get moderate exercise throughout the week.
• Limit your consumption of alcohol.
• Don’t smoke.

Social support

     Social support is a major factor in how we experience stress. Social support is the positive support you receive from family, friends, and the community. It is the knowledge that you are cared for, loved, esteemed, and valued. More and more research indicates a strong relationship between social support and better mental and physical health.

Changing thinking

      When an event triggers negative thoughts, you may experience fear, insecurity, anxiety, depression, rage, guilt, and a sense of worthlessness or powerlessness. These emotions trigger the body’s stress, just as an actual threat does. Dealing with your negative thoughts and how you see things can help reduce stress.
• Thought-stopping helps you stop a negative thought to help eliminate stress.
• Disproving irrational thoughts helps you to avoid exaggerating the negative thought, anticipating the worst, and interpreting an event incorrectly.
• Problem-solving helps you identify all aspects of a stressful event and find ways to deal with it.

• Changing your communication style helps you communicate in a way that makes your views known without making others feel put down, hostile, or intimidated. This reduces the stress that comes from poor communication. Use the assertiveness ladder to improve your communication style.
